ABOUT RSC
RSC was founded in 2007 by 11 founding members to guard and promote the professional interest of Romanian cinematographers, defend cultural, professional and moral principles, and advocate authorship rights recognition.
FOUNDING & GOALS
RSC was founded in 2007 by a number of 11 founding members among whom were a number of consacrate DoP like Vivi Drăgan Vasile, Florin Mihăilescu and Ion Marinescu and the newcomers like Liviu Mărghidan, Tudor Lucaciu, Oleg Mutu, Marius Panduru, Viorel Sergovici, Silviu Stavila and Alex Sterian. Among the RSC goals we find: guarding and promoting the profesional interest of Romanian cinematographers; defending the cultural, profesional and moral principles of the members and advocate the authorship wrights recognition for the Romanian cinematographers.
IMAGO & INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE
Since 2009 when RSC became member of IMAGO (imago.org) we're involved in various events and committees within IMAGO and we organise since 2007 a Cinematography Masterclass (facebook.com/rsc.masterclass). RSC is an active member of IMAGO throughout the years its been part of the various Cinematographers festivals (Camerimage and Manaky Brothers) and technology fairs in London, Paris and Rome.
